House Leadership
This Legislative body is a creation of the Kenyan Constitution Chapter 11 Article 176 which stipulates that there shall be a County Government for each County, consisting of a County Assembly and a County Executive. Vihiga County Assembly occupies the grounds of the former County Council of Vihiga. The County Assembly was officially opened by the Governor for Vihiga County, His Excellency Hon. Moses Akaranga on 17th April 2013.
